Restoration was supported by a grant from the Trillium Foundation. More than 500 individuals and organizations have contributed in various ways, from work on the structure to furnishing and publicity of this historic building, its “classroom” addition and the park in which it is situated. Contributions came in many forms from people across Ontario and from as far away as British Columbia.

Two tireless Friends of the Cottage
Jane Beecroft – Founder and long-time President of CHP, initiator, and tireless driver of the entire project
